Coffee drinker? Good news for you!

It’s been suggested in a finding that there’s no association of coffee intake with cancers of the stomach, pancreas, lung, breast, ovary, and prostate. This article was published on European Journal of Cancer Prevention in Sept 2017.

Drinking coffee in moderation would be a good rule of thumb.

Still prefer brewing coffee using fine powder and sweeten with healthy sugar substitute i.e. sweetener 糖化伴侣(赤藓糖醇) or 健之糖(赤藓糖醇含罗汉果精华) to take care of my calorie intake and glucose level. Aromatic, original, with some bitterness as well as a bit of natural sweetness. My choice is always black coffee as I fancy natural stuff, though at times may go with fresh milk for a change of taste.

I’ve gradually learned to enjoy coffee. In fact, it made me felt heaty when I first tried it out even with 1 teaspoon of coffee powder as I was a heaty person. Nowadays I’d usually have a cup of coffee during afternoon tea break to keep my “engine” running and to stay alert. Yes, it really works for me though.

It has become a habit that whenever I’m travelling, I tend to look out for roasted coffee beans in loose form which are made locally. Very aromatic! The beans would then be ground into loose powder and packed in air tight bags. It seems that the coffee powder is unique to each place in terms of texture, aroma and even taste. Setting aside the breed, it’s the method of processing and freshness perhaps?

Nonetheless, would limit my intake to maximum of 2 cups a day, in order to protect my body systems as caffeine does have an impact on our bone, heart or sleep, among others.
